HID cards come in various types, each designed for different applications and levels of security. Here are some of the main types: HID Proximity Cards : These are the most common and are often referred to as Prox cards. They operate at a low frequency (125 kHz) and are used for basic access control. iCLASS® Cards : These smart cards operate at a high frequency (13.56 MHz) and offer enhanced security features. They are used for both physical and logical access control. iCLASS SE® Cards : These are an advanced version of iCLASS cards, providing additional security and flexibility. They support multiple applications and can be used with various readers. iCLASS® Seos® Cards : These cards offer the highest level of security and are designed for multi-application environments. They can be used for both physical access and IT resources. HID Crescendo Cards : These are high-security authentication cards that support multiple technologies, including FIDO, PKI, and OATH. They are ideal for organ
