MIFARE DESFire EV2 is a contactless smart card technology developed by NXP Semiconductors, designed for secure, multi-application environments. It is an upgraded version of the MIFARE DESFire EV1 and is commonly used in public transportation, access control, e-payment, and identity management systems.
